Moorland Conduit

conduit follo 1 conduit follo 2 conduit follo 3I followed the first conduit that you come to on the path I normally take. At first it is a mere depression in the ground, unnoticeable except within the context of seeing the whole length of the conduit.  This conduit leads to Gaddings Dam, and gradually increases in depth and significance as it approaches the dam.  I took a series of photographs, following  progress past the small bridges, and pools of water overhung by sedges.

In this work, I become the flow, moving along the conduit, hidden below the surface of the moors, taking the same route as the water between one reservoir and another.
